About

Our Story

Soda City Combat Club started in Five Points as a small no-gi and striking gym. In October 2025, head coach Donnie Bowen took over ownership with one goal: build a real martial arts academy for the whole Midlands. One year later, on October 3, 2026, we open a 4,100 square foot facility on Sunset Blvd in West Columbia, adding gi Jiu-Jitsu, a full kids program from age 4, and expanded striking, while keeping the fight team that started it all.
